Terminalogy of Drifting

Defines the word "drift" as a complete controlled four-wheel skid used to take bends at high speed. A "drifter" which a person who moves aimlessly from place to place. So this terminology doesn't applies rite? Whereas word "Slide" is to move smoothly along a surface in continual contact with it. Which means it would be safe and much more appopriate to incorparate the first the first and thirs definations into this whole new "drift culture", a technique made famous by the Japenese "driftmeister" Tetsuya Techya nicknamed 'Dori-Dori' which i guess i'm what of the meaning of it , but i'm sure its to do with the word drift

Contemporary definition of Drifting

Defines as getting your car completly sideways and crossed up as possible while still in complete control. I bet you seen it before. Remember World Rally Championship (WRC)?? watering rally mistro such as Tommi Makkinen, Richard Burns, Carlos Sainz and but of course not forgetting Collin McRae power sliding into a U-bend was almost and out-of-body experience for me. Perfect executionof a drift is needed to pinpoint accuracy, perfect judgement and some pretty sublime driving skills, all of which is a second nature to a any racing driver.
